How does Bridges work?
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
1. A computer: PC or Mac and, if you wish, a portable mp3 player for audio- books, or an eReader device for eBooks.
A mobile device, such as a
smartphone or iPad.
2. Internet connection:
You may use your library’s wi -fi
connection with your own computer
or mobile device, but the library’s
public access computers
cannot be used for downloading.
3. Software (for computer) or
App (for mobile device) Both are free!

On the BRIDGES Website you can:
Downloading books from BRIDGES requires software or an app, to help manage the copyright protection and enable you to read or listen to the books.
Once a book is checked out at the BRIDGES website, you can download the title to a computer to read or listen, or transfer to a portable device or eReader.
Audiobooks and e-Books are checked out for two (2) weeks. At the end of the loan period, they are automatically returned to the collection. eBooks can be returned early; audiobooks can be returned early if they are downloaded via a mobile device.
